What We Do
At The Hills Retreat, we work toward connecting incoming Clemson freshman and transfer students to local churches and campus ministries in the Clemson area.
As the Media Executive for The Hills Retreat 2024, I had the opportunity to direct all photo, video, and creative work for all Hills social channels. I lead a team of 10 photographers and videographers for two sessions of the retreat, and the work we produced received over 1.1 million views and reached over 450k accounts through the content we posted during the August 1st-14th, 2024 period.
I am currently acting as one of two Co-Directors for the Hills Retreat for the 2025 retreat year. In this role I have had the opportunity to onboard nearly 400 staff, including 12 on our executive team, roughly 40 in our support level, and over 300 to our general staff across the school year. I have helped plan and execute three staff training weekends, and am working with our executive team to plan the Hills Retreat for thus upcoming August, where we expect to have 700 incoming Clemson Freshmen attend the retreat.
Retreat Recaps
One of the largest media projects for The Hills Retreat are our session recap videos. I had the opportunity to work as the lead videographer for these videos, and oversee the video editing proccess.
